Diana Zic
Diana, who founded CocoonCare, utilized her education, unique perspective and experience with subfertility to many different arenas of her life: to her joyous conception of her rainbow baby, 13 years of yoga experience, and Integrative and Functional Medicine training to the community.
Her straightforward method to helping women create the cocoon of care they need on their motherhood journey is something every mom should seek.
Diana came to yoga after a lower back injury in 2007. After experiencing little to no relief from physical therapy, Diana decided to try a yoga class. She soon realized yoga not only eased her body aches, but soothed her racing “monkey” mind. In 2011, Diana enrolled at Equinox in its Pure Yoga 200hr teacher training program in hopes to share it with other achy bodied, racing mind office workers.
After leaving the legal world behind in 2015, Diana completed her certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition (IIN) in 2017, where she learned over 100 dietary theories, innovative coaching methods, practical lifestyle management techniques as well as completed her 95-hour prenatal and postpartum certification.
In addition, she has obtained continuing education hours in various topics such as: Integrative Women’s Health Institute (IWHI) in their Optimal Fertility Program: Preconception Detoxification and Preparedness Program, Vin & Restorative, and Yoga for Fertility, IWHI’s endometriosis masterclass, IIN’s hormonal training course, Aviva Romm’s Integrative & Functional Medicine Training Program, & Sarah Duvall’s Pregnancy and Postpartum Corrective Exercise Specialist program. Also, a member of Evidence Based Birth.
Diana encourages women to listen to their intuition whether it’s on the yoga mat or in a coaching session, while encouraging clients to utilize their intuitive connection to take charge of their health and well-being.
