Our team of labor doulas serve the Chicagoland area and surrounding suburbs including but not limited to: Cook, Dupage, Lake, Northshore, Kane, & Kendal County
We help new parents heal after having kids through nutrition, lifestyle, wellness and doula support.
Celeste is a certified labor doula who is passionate about supporting women through their journey of birth before, during, and after. Creating life and bringing it into this world is a superpower women have, and Celeste is on a mission to empower other women from all walks of life through this physical, emotional, and spiritual process. Everyone’s childbirth story is different, and I enjoy hearing and learning from their experiences.
Jaclyn is a CAPPA trained birth doula with a background in public health. Her previous work includes STD and sex education, public health research, and healthcare administration. Understanding the healthcare complexities of pregnancy and birth, Jaclyn is passionate about ensuring all clients have full agency throughout their birth journey. She values the power of relationships, championing for strong provider and family relationships and supporting birth partners to be just as engaged. Most importantly, she loves connecting amazing people to other amazing people and resources, and assists clients in accessing the best resources throughout pregnancy and postpartum.
Jessica is a CAPPA trained birth doula and birth concierge. She became a doula to support all women in the community. When women work together, amazing things can happen. She strives to make all of her clients feel empowered and educated througheir their pregnancy, birth and postpartum. Jessica had children when she was young and felt lost in the shuffle of pregnancy and labor, she knows if she had a doula, she would’ve been able to understand and experience birth the best way she now knows is possible.
Lex is a birth doula trained by New Beginnings and she is Native American, which plays a large role in who she is as a doula. Her culture teaches her different perspectives, traditions, and a lifelong duty to serve others. Lex is trained in evidence based birth care and is a herbalist in her spare time. She became a doula after her own traumatic birthing experience and due to the lack of education and accessibility in her communities. She believes that advocacy, empowerment, comfort, and informed consent are the most important parts of any labor experience. Lex is also gay and non-binary, so she has a deep understanding and sensitivity of the needs of the LGBTQIA+ parenting community. Outside of work Lex enjoys spending time with her wife and daughter, reading, snuggling her cat, and volunteering at her daughter’s school.
Lisa is a birth doula, peer lactation counselor, placenta encapsulator, and HypnoBirthing Educator located in Chicago. She has additional training in Spinning Babies and herbs, homeopathy and nutrition in the perinatal period. Her passion for birth work began after a traumatic first birth that led her to study and advocate for informed and empowered births and help others have positive birth experiences. Outside of birth work, Lisa is a wife and mother of two and enjoys gardening, hiking, foraging, mushroom hunting, yoga and road trips.
Trina is a birth and postpartum doula who is also a certified childbirth educator and a breastfeeding counselor. She received her training through the International Doula Institute. Trina also has a Master’s Degree in Healthcare Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Community Health and Health Promotion.
She is passionate about being a doula and loves helping families become educated, informed and confident! She is “Team-Mom.” She enjoys helping families understand the importance of their voice and understanding their options. She is aware of the challenges families can face transitioning and adjusting to a newborn and she is there to offer recommendations, tips and resources. Trina loves nurturing families and newborns and goes above and beyond to surround families with knowledge, support, encouragement, and compassion.
Trina is a mother of two daughters and a grandmother to one granddaughter.
Her main goal is to educate families, offer words of affirmation, and help create beautiful birthing experiences and positive postpartum care.
